OUR COMPARISON METHOD
See the reasoning.
Check the evidence.
A useful comparison should show what a value means, where it came from and what is still unknown. These are the rules behind the interface.
From a source to a decision.
The stages keep the original claim separate from our interpretation.
- 01
Capture the source
Use the provider’s official pricing or documentation. Keep the URL and the date of the check.
- 02
Keep the conditions
Record the GPU or instance, region, currency, billing model, minimum term and included resources.
- 03
Make units comparable
Separate per-GPU from per-instance prices. Explain any currency conversion or monthly calculation.
- 04
Explain the fit
Compare the documented requirements with the workload. Describe setup effort, limits and open questions.
- 05
Leave uncertainty visible
Unknown availability, missing extras and unverified features remain explicitly labelled.
What a traceable price record contains.
Illustrative record structure. This example is not an available offer.
EXAMPLE RECORD / NOT A PROVIDER QUOTE
- Original unit
- $1.00 per instance-hour
- Configuration
- One instance; GPU count and specification recorded separately
- Conditions
- Region, billing interval, commitment and tax basis
- Provenance
- Official source link + date checked
- Availability
- Unknown unless supported by current capacity evidence
- Extra charges
- Separate storage, transfer and service entries; missing values stay unknown
The rules that protect a fair comparison.
A commercial relationship does not turn an unsuitable offer into a good fit.
- No universal winner
- A result explains its fit for your requirements. We do not invent a single score for unlike workloads.
- Visible ordering
- The active sort and filters stay visible. Price sorting uses compatible units and conditions.
- No paid ranking
- Commission does not change suitability or the order of organic comparison results.
- Claims versus tests
- Provider documentation supports a vendor claim. A measured performance claim needs a disclosed test method. No independent performance benchmarks have been run.
- Costs versus quotes
- A calculator shows assumptions and known subtotals. Only the provider can confirm its final offer.
Labels you will meet
The cited source was inspected on the shown date. It does not prove present capacity.
Calculated from stated inputs. Not a quote or a guarantee.
The information needed for a reliable claim is missing.
An example for explanation or interaction design. Not a current offer.
AICloudCompare is not connected to a live capacity feed, and prices are never refreshed automatically: each one is re-checked against its official source. A source check can become outdated. Confirm price, region and availability with the provider before purchase.
